Another New Novel Release Day
The next novel in my Forgotten Fodder series goes live.
Today, the next novel in my Forgotten Fodder series goes live! Even after writing another sci-fi trilogy and a humorous sci-fi standalone, the characters from my clone, crime, and conspiracy sci-fi series are too much in my head to be ignored. They had more stories to be told.
While I finished the original 4 books of this series in 2021, I decided to come back and give Jace, Onima, Kara, and the rest of the team another adventure. It was plotted and planned, but held back for a bit. Now, however, you will get them over the coming months.
Another new novel release day
Today marks the publication of Forgotten Fodder Book 6 – Shell Game. This is the second new novel of The Turncoat Conspiracy saga.

Thanks to the turncoat’s gambit, the investigation has forced the CBI team to split up. After witnessing the birth of a potential new conspiracy, Onima and Jace are stuck at AECC headquarters while Kara and a small team are trapped at a distant station on the other side of the Confederation.
All of them are up against politicians and uber-wealthy businesspeople, some of whom seem to be doing illicit things to get even more obscenely rich. Worse, they’re using clones as scapegoats for further distractions and misdirection.
As the team works to understand the situation, they find more questions than answers, another Bureau team with a seemingly indifferent work ethic, and have more than one near-fatal encounter.
If they fail, it could mean a breakdown of the Confederation, the economy, and throw the galaxy into chaos. Can they keep clonekind, the CBI, and the Confederation out of the crosshairs?
To win this game, the team is going to need to turn over every shell.

Forgotten Fodder Book 7 – Conspiracy Theory – will be published on January 13, 2026. Book 8 – Shifting Sands – will be published on March 10, 2026.
The work is ongoing
While today is my new novel release day, I’m still working on other projects.
As part of my schedule and work routine, I write 1500 words of fiction and edit at least a chapter a day. Thus, I’m working on completing the edits to the Audiobook of Conspiracy Theory. Once I get the book back from my editor, I go over her edits and record each chapter after I’ve read it through aloud while going over the edits. I am, however, not just the voice artist. I’m also the director, producer, and editor of my audiobooks.
Look at that. Me making use of my college minor (with tech I didn’t have in college, but that’s neither here nor there).
I am in the middle of writing A Gentleman Space Pirate: Rise of the Captain (Book 1 of the Gentleman Space Pirate series). Following the planning I did, it’s coming along nicely. The books in this series will be longer than the books in my prior series (each book is over 40 chapters, somewhere on the order of 80,000+ words total).
The next 4 books of my Gentleman Space Pirate series have been plotted. The plan is to explore publishing starting next Fall.
At my current pace, I should be done with the Conspiracy Theory audiobook edits by the end of the month. At a chapter a day, I think I should have the first novel GSP done by month’s end, too.
I love that I get to share my stories with you. But that’s not all that I’m working on. I’m nearly ready to launch my new publishing and coaching business in Argent Hedgehog Press. More about this when I launch, but that should be by the end of this week.
Next new release day in January
Unlike when I published a book a month last year to share my Savagespace series, I am giving myself more time and space to get this series to you. Blasting out a book a month was almost overwhelming (and I had far less time between each book to edit and format, which added to the stress of it).
I might also be sharing more nonfiction works with the world. Though I have yet to solidify the idea, more effort putting out my philosophy in the world strikes me as an increasingly good idea. You can never have too many ways to find balance in this crazy, mixed-up world.
