These include an exploration and practice of mindfulness, conscious reality creation, positivity, and the personal philosophy I call Pathwalking that I write about every Wednesday.

I write these because I believe that we all need some encouragement now and then, as well as new ideas to help our focus.

What do you do when you wake up in the hospital, and can’t remember how you got there?

At the end of 1999, that’s exactly where I was to be found. I was the victim of a hit-and-run, and I had a lot of damage to recover from.

The story of my experiences during this part of my life is a little sad, sometimes tragic, occasionally infuriating, disconcerting, but also kind of funny. Within these pages is a whole bunch of crazy stuff that really, truly happened. Through it all, I learned that consciousness creates reality. I learned the power of strength of mind, of friendship, of love, and more.

This is how I coped with an unexpected life event. I share my good and bad choices, telling it as true as I can recall it. It is my hope that my story might resonate with you in different ways. I also hope that it makes you laugh.

Vortex Pilgrimage

What lengths will we go to in order to find ourselves?

There comes a point in everyone’s life where they want to really get to know their heart, mind, and soul. Some of us take journeys of discovery – some literal, some metaphorical. All have the same goal – to better understand who we are and what we are meant to do with our lives.

Sedona, Arizona is known for its unique energy vortexes. People have had some amazing experiences in these sacred places, and have sought them out to further their own self-understanding and connections to the world around them.
On a pilgrimage to Sedona, a man crosses the gateway at the vortex, entering an alternate reality where he is his idealized self. There he meets masters who take him on a journey of self-discovery through trials and lessons as he works to become a stronger, wiser, and better person.

A fictional adventure of the spirit relatable to everyone in the here-and-now, Vortex Pilgrimage is a fable for the modern age.
