The Next New Novel Release Day
Today, the latest novel of my Forgotten Fodder series goes live.
It’s that time again. New Novel Release day! Today, the seventh novel in my Forgotten Fodder series is available. Years after their initial creation, the characters from my clone, crime, and conspiracy sci-fi series are too much in my head to be ignored. They have more stories to be told.
After I finished the original 4 books of this series in 2021, I decided to come back and give Jace, Onima, Kara, and the rest of the team another adventure. This is the third book in the new quartet of novels across the colonies, some 550 years in our future. This is the continuation of the first series I ever wrote from a plan, rather than as a pantser.
And I think this represents some of the best plotting and storytelling I’ve done to date.
The next new novel release day is today
Today marks the publication of Forgotten Fodder Book 7 – Conspiracy Theory. This is the third new novel of The Turncoat Conspiracy saga.

Jace, Onima, and Kara are literally under the gun after an unexpected betrayal. This new threat comes as they’re investigating obscene money moves, attempts at weakening the Confederation government and the Bureau, plus increasing anti-clone sentiment. Yet, the disparate pieces and players on the board point to something else. But what?
Feroz and his confederates are playing multiple games. Is their goal to take down the Confederation and bring back hidden pre-war leaders? Is it all about amassing surreal wealth unseen in centuries? Or is it something else entirely?
The team is racing against the clock to work out the turncoat’s gambit, play his shell game, and learn the real conspiracy theory. The consequences of failing might undo more than a decade of stability. And what price are they willing to pay to preserve the Confederation and all it stands for?
Conspiracy Theory is available on Amazon for paperback, Kindle, and audiobook, and in all three formats from other distributors like Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords, Apple Books, and more. This saga will be 4 books (bringing the series to 8 books total).
Forgotten Fodder Book 8 – Shifting Sands – will be published on March 10, 2026. This will be the final book in the Turncoat Conspiracy saga, and the last book of the series (for now).
My ongoing work
Today might be my new novel release day, but I’m still working on other projects.
My practice is to write 1500 words of fiction and edit at least a chapter a day. When it comes to editing, I’m currently working on completing the edits to the audiobook of Shifting Sands.
This is what my editing practice overall looks like: After I get the book back from my editor, I go over her edits and record each chapter. To go over the edits I get back, I read aloud. It never ceases to amaze me how much you pick up on reading aloud that just reading alone misses. That done, I record. I’m not just the voice artist, I’m also the director, producer, and editor of my audiobooks. That’s why the editing of the latest recording is my current project.
When it comes to daily writing, I’m working on a completely new series. I’ve finished Rise of the Captain, book one of A Gentleman Space Pirate. That done, I’m now hard at work on book two, Piracy, Partners, Politics, and Profit. The books in this series are all plotted out to be over 40 chapters, somewhere on the order of 80,000+ words total.
The plan is to explore publishing this series starting in the Fall. More to come once I finish editing the Forgotten Fodder audiobook and start my first edits of the Gentlemen Space Pirate series.
I’m starting 2026 strong. I love that I get to share my stories with you. But that’s not all that I’m working on. I’ve begun to launch my new publishing and coaching business in Argent Hedgehog Press. More about this coming soon.
Next new release day in March
Unlike when I published a book a month to share my Savagespace series, I’m giving myself more time and space to get this series to you. Putting out a book a month was a bit overwhelming. Still, I love this work.
As we move further into 2026, I might start sharing more nonfiction works with the world. Though I’m still just spitballing this, given the state of the world currently, I think that additional effort putting out my philosophy in the world could be an increasingly good idea. You can never have too many ways to find empowerment, balance, and mindfulness, right? What exactly this will look like is still being shaped, but I’ve made a couple of small alterations to my original blog website to employ this.
